2018年4月5日から28日まで米国ハワイで建築月間 2018 Architecture month が開催されます。AIA（アメリカ建築家協会）ホノルル支部主催。
ほとんどのイベントが無料となっています。特におすすめは、4月27日の映画や、4月28日の建築ツアー（$15/person）です。
建築ツアーは、アラモアナSCから西に徒歩20分にある「カカアコ地区 Kakaako」を歩きます。カカアコはウォールアートで有名ですが、カフェやレストランも充実していて近年オアフ島で注目のエリアのようです。

APRIL 28 – Architectural Walking Tour: Kaka’ako

The public is invited to join in a Walking Tour of Kakaako, led by AIA member-architects, on Saturday, April 28 – a rare opportunity to explore the area’s rich history and future vision from a design perspective.
When: Saturday, April 28, 3pm-6pm
Over the course of two hours, walkers will learn about architecturally significant historic and recent buildings and spaces in an area of urban Honolulu that has been the focus of so much attention in recent years.
Cost: Walking tours are $15 per person. Advanced reservations required.
